Cyber Security Intern – Red Team

Role purpose:

This role will be responsible for conducting advanced penetration tests and Red team operations, actively hunting for threats within our clients’ environments, works with blue teams in performing Incident Response, Cyber Security Investigations and Forensics. The role will work closely with our clients to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and enhance their overall security posture.

Key accountabilities.

• Responsible for undertaking Penetration testing activities in line with the Infosec Security Testing Code of Conduct.
• Lead Red Team operations and own threat hunting frameworks for continuous improvement.
• Performing threat hunting activities to proactively identify and recommend measures to mitigate potential threats.
• Work with blue teams in Performing Cyber Security Incident Response and Developing security measures to protect against cyber threats
• Work with blue teams in Perform Cyber Security Investigation/ Forensics and develop measures to reduce impact of security incidents in future.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Technical / professional qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or relevant domain
• Strong Understanding of Penetration Testing and Cyber Forensics Methodology and Tools
• Knowledge of Software Development Methodologies, Frameworks and Languages.
• Skills for documentation, report writing and Presentation.
• Knowledge of legal, regulatory requirements on Cyber Security.
• An industry Security certification.  OSCP/PNPT is strongly preferred.
