Cyber Security Prevent and Demand Intern 

Role purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Prevent and Demand Intern to join our team. This role involves implementing cybersecurity controls and technologies for our clients, assisting the sales team with technical presentations and demos, writing proposals, executing cybersecurity projects, and providing continuous technical support. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for cybersecurity.

Key accountabilities:

Implementation of Cyber Security Controls and Technologies:

• Design, deploy, and manage cybersecurity solutions for clients.
• Configure and optimize security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify security gaps.
• Perform Researches to identify New and emerging Cyber Security Technologies and create internal capabilities.

Sales Support:

• Assist the sales team with technical presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
• Provide technical expertise during sales calls and meetings.
• Create and deliver compelling proposals that address client security needs.

Project Implementation:

• Plan, execute, and manage cybersecurity projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their security requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Continuous Technical Support:

• Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues.
• Monitor security systems and respond to incidents promptly.
• Conduct regular security reviews and assessments to ensure continuous improvement.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and customer support, to ensure cohesive service delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

Technical / professional qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or relevant domain
• Strong Understanding of Network Security, Infrastructure & Systems Security, Cloud Security.
• Knowledge of Common Servers Infrastructure, including Hardware, Storage Devices, Network Devices, Hypervisors, Containerization, Linux, Windows and other related Technologies
• Skills for documentation, report writing and Presentation.
• An industry Security certification.  CC, CCNA, NSE4, RHCE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or related is strongly preferred.
